Wow, this really does rhizomaticly vibe with my seemingly random (no such thing, of course, Corinthians reference.

Another excellent post, and I thank you for your honesty and insights. I am sorry for the loss of your aunt. I too know people maimed or killed by the genocide injection, and not a day goes by I don't marvel and despair at how the world carries on in blithe ignorance or total lack of concern for the ongoing horror. One horror of many, I suppose, in our Skinner Box, pseudo-envrionment, Calhoun mouse dystopia. (Just wrote about that too!)

Speaking of, the article got me thinking that that's the brilliance of the social engineering: survival of the fittest in a hyperreality. It's a virtually (no pun intended) automated operant conditioning system, growing behavior modules within its specified paramaters. It can actually foster health (again, as I somewhat satirically discuss in latest ramblings) but seems to more often corrupt and cripple, like how foot bindings slowly deform and maim a woman's foot over time by impeding growth in certain natural directions, or forcing it in the unnatural.

I feel for your uncle and shall pray for him as well. Candidly, I too have done enormous harm to my life over the years in part due to a faulty worldview and addiction, what I refer to as "situational certitude" in a concept somewhat comprable to pseudo-environments/hyperreality. The realization of the opportunities destroyed, the people harmed, can indeed be so profoundly devastating that further retreat into addiction, collapse into ineffable despair, total schizoid break, or suicide can seem the only options. Few people will find themselves in such a hell--*the* Hell, by my reckoning--and that loneliness and disregard only fuels the flames.

This leads to so many interesting questions, as well, but perhaps for a different day, my friend! Not to end on a down note haha, just wanted to leave you a quick message of appreciation and encouragement. If we swapped your subcriber numbers with Jim Acosta's or Sam Harris's this world would be freaking Shambhala within the week!

Thank you for reading. I know time is in short supply and I wish I had more of it to read more things myself. I could spend lifetimes just reading..

Thank you for your words about my aunt. Yes, our environment really is a house of horrors. (Skinner Box, pseudo environment..)

Your comments about social engineering- the survival of the fittest in a hyperreality - an automated operant system- are very thoughtful and spot on. It is a dynamic process to understand and frankly.. I do not see many who even realize this phenomenon exists. Then again- considering how effective it is I am not surprised. I appreciate your comparison to the foot bindings- I think that is a very descriptive image for what this system does to normal individual human psychology all the way up to our interactive social reality. I may appropriate that description (like I did with your synchronization ritual) to use for future essays.

Thank you for the prayers for my uncle. He needs them. We all do in some way.

Thank you for sharing with me about your struggles. I pray you have found your way on the other side of that crucible, or at the least have found the strength to endure. It has taken... numerous trips to Hell for me to not only realize the errors in my ways (for the trips that were my own doing) as well as for the trips that I could not control, to get where I am now. With that said, many (including myself) have written about the necessity of pain. I now know I need my pain ... but surviving it is indeed a challenge. I wish you luck with your demon slaying , nay, I pray for you to have the courage to face them down and keep them there.

Indeed, this could lead to many hours of great conversation exploring the depths of the human pain and the paths we walk towards individual salvation - especially as well all try to navigate this malevolent pseudo reality.

Haha. I do appreciate the vote of confidence. It is a shame there is not more thoughtful discourse in our public square, but we both know why that is not the case. Although if we had such an environment I am not sure I would be one of the leading voices as I have been humbled by so many great minds here on the stack that have taught me so many perspectives, yourself included. I am just thankful that my musings resonate with a few and they can make use of my thoughts.

All the best amigo!

Thank you for the kind message. I sincerely appreciate it.

I definitely understand about time being in short supply haha. And yeah no doubt we could spend a very veryveryvery long time discussing hyper-realities, Skinner Box Society, the role and true meaning of pain… all of these things. You are quite right that—not to arrogantly Dunning-Kruger myself here ha—but I don’t think a lot of people even recognize the basic structures in place here. Hopefully someday we get a chance to discuss ‘em; I’d really like to get back to podcasting and that nonsense lol

And I am ecstatic if some of my musings, like “Synchronization Rituals,” resonate with others, and I heartily encourage you or anyone else with whom the resonate to take ‘em and run with them! :D I’m just trying to get these goofy ideas out of my head and then into the world in case they can be of benefit, and if anyone is kind enough to grab ‘em and hold them up, like Rafiki presenting baby Baby Simba haha, well, then I am eternally grateful.

Speaking of, Sync Rituals may make another appearance in an upcoming Harvey Award Ceremeon…
